Busacca didn't have much to do in this rather quiet match, but did so most professionally. I'm not sure what happened to the Romanians. They didn't put up much of a fight and let themselves be outplayed by the Dutch in a lethargic kind of way.
No wrong calls I could see. Something maybe near the end of the first half when what looked like a decent two-step corner kick was taken by the Dutch and Massimo saw a foul that even his linesman - about a meter from the action - hadn't noticed.
A bit of to and fro-ing in the first half, but a rather onesided Dutch affair in the second. The Dutch didn't show their best form, playing with what was called a B-team, but it was clearly enough to outplay the Romanians, who looked rather forlorn, a shadow of their former selves. It wasn't the best of matches to watch. Plenty more action in the France - Italy game. Go check it out.
