Great game, great Serbian football referees ( measured and with a lot of style )

UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE 2012 - 2013 1/4 finals:
Tottenham Hotspur - Basel, 2 - 2. White Hart Lane, London, England, 2013-04-04

Tottenham Hotspur came from two goals behind to claim a 2-2 draw against Basel in the first leg of their Europa League tie at White Hart Lane. Despite starting well, Spurs were lucky not to fall behind when Marco Streller created room for himself inside the box before firing a shot straight at the palms of Brad Friedel. The hosts failed to learn from the early Basel threat and conceded the first goal in the 30th minute as Valentin Stocker finished easily from close range after Streller had drilled the ball against the post. Basel doubled their lead just five minutes later when Fabian Frei was allowed enough room inside the area to head home from a corner. However, Spurs restored some pride before the break as Emmanuel Adebayor took advantage of some poor defending to volley in from a few yards out. The hosts should have been level moments later but Scott Parker's finish was deflected off the foot of Lewis Holtby and the ball flew wide of the post. Basel once again looked dangerous at the beginning of the second half but it was Spurs who found the crucial third goal, with Gylfi Sigurdsson finding the net with a deflected 25-yard effort. The visitors continued to threaten in attack, with Mohamed Salah and Stocker both going close with speculative efforts midway through the second period. Basel finished the game confidently and Villas-Boas was forced to look on with concern as William Gallas and Gareth Bale were forced off with injuries in the closing minutes.

Measured, unobtrusively and with a lot of style- Mr. Mazic
Style influenced the trial to the referee during the match did not even notice though, this is especially true in the first part of the game, played at times very hard. In the match I recorded 23 violations, 3 awarded offside and 3 disciplinary measures - warning. Of course, the foregoing is supported by the finding that Milorad Mazic rational movement itself provided insufficient good position on the ground that certain situations may well see and evaluate. Meticulous, and extremely psychological stability were two elements to the game is coming to the fore in the trial of Milorad Mazic. The referee would let the game evolve to the ultimate extent possible under the circumstances and in the spirit and letter of compliance LOTG. AR1 Milorad Ristic- excellent performance! AR2 Igor Radojcic ( " pillar team " ) - excellent!

78'
The only " contentious situation " occurred in 78. minutes. In fact, some might think, at first glance, that Gallas deserved second yellow card. Me too, really! But, after a detailed analysis I noticed the following: Gallas fighting for position opposing attackers pinned back on the foot, no shirt ( no unsportsmanlike conduct ) and bad pass Basel's player went to Vertonghen, not to Gallas. Therefore, it isn't a promising attack ( no way )! Great set Mazic had a good " window " make a great decision- no disciplinary action. Premiership's referees would not have interrupted the game ( no offense ).
