Control: good but pretty easy

Calls: overall it was good. he missed some fouls from AZE players near the box, but AR2 Baltas stole AZE a clear goal attempt. probably, that would have been a goal. it was no offside

Neutrality:
7
Style: very lenient. that was sometimes good, but sometimes it led to the fact that some AZE players had the fool's licence

General assessment
solid perfomance, the assistant referees both had tomatoes on their eyes. i think this match is a good basis for UEFA to give him some smaller EL matches next season. GER's bilance it impressive. 7 matches, 7 victories. I grant AZE this goal.

UEFA EURO 2012 QUALIFIERS :
Azerbaijan - Germany, 1 - 3. Tofik Bakhramov, Baku, Azerbaijan, 2011-06-07

Michael Koukoulakis from Greece was in charge of Azerbaijan-Germany. Linesmen: Leonidas Vasileiadis and Christos Baltas. If you read the headline "solid", you will get an overall impression of his perfomance. Solid, not more, not less. That is perhaps no good expression for a referee's perfomance, however, he may have chances to get some Euro League matches next season.

Calls
Well, most of the calls were good and right, but sometimes he was simply too lenient. He denied Germany some good free kick positions near the box. That might have reasons of neutrality, because if he had whistled every foul of Azerbaijan, it would have awaken the impression that he is not neutral..but ok. It was no that important match..Nonetheless, one has to talk about the linesmen. Baltas stole AZE a pretty good goal attempt which may have led to a goal. It was not even borderline..it was simply inside..Vasileiadis with some doubtful free kick flags..but here as well: it had a character of a friendly.

@ svn
What you mentioned is at the borderline to a joke. I expect that a referee does not pay attention to big names but that he is neutral. That is no effort for Koukoulakis, it is his duty! That goes without saying, I hope you agree with me...
