FIFA WC 2010 group stage:
Korea Republic - Greece, 2 - 0. Nelson Mandela Bay, Port Elizabeth, South Africa, 2010-06-12

Let's call it a Hester question, a question that doesn't make sense and one we heard many times in the last week: why didn't they choose Australian Matthew Breeze instead of Hester (or O'Leary).
That question makes no sense at all because Australia and New Zealand are not in the same federation. It is like asking why Messi doesn't play for Spain, since he lives in Barcelona. A better thing to ask would be: why two Oceania refs, when there are so many really good ones from other continents.

But
Hester wasn't bad at all in this match. Okay, it wasn't a tough one, but still, this is the World Cup. Billions of viewers.

Most
has been said about this match already in the little box here to the right. I think he wasn't bad at all. A bit far off the action perhaps and Hester shouldn't have allowed that Greek player to yell and make gestures at his assistant.
Penalty? Nah.

Don't be surprised when this Greek team loses 6 - 0 to Argentina. I have a Hester question too: Why didn't they (UEFA) send a better team than Greece to the World Cup?
