Well I don't know what to say about this match, maybe the effect of the alcohol of yesterday did interfere in the way I saw it because I almost slept in a boring game with only a few actions to analyze.
As fist as I knew I would see Seechurn I was happy because he was (together with Alioum, Benouza, Maillet and Coulibaly) one of the 5 refs I wanted to see in this tournament, but at the end of this match I'm not sure if it was really a test for him. The match was slow and Seechurn adapted himself to it, all the yellow cards were ok and he had not big thinks to deal with. He had some communication problems but nothing what really matters. He seems to be a very calm ref, and he was close to the actions. He had some strange moves on the field but this are some stupid little things he should improve -so boring was the game that I could notice it with out focus-
The AR had not big troubles, I only saw a clear mistake, but also 3 or 4 excellent calls.
Ok, if this is one of the candidates to be the winner of this AFCON Cote D'Ivoire will have to improve a lot. Seechurn proved he is able to handel this easy games, but how would he act in a difficult one? And an other question: How do you pronounce Seechurn's name?
