Excellent performance. Velaso Carballo is a strong ref who can let the game flow and books only when necessary. He is much better than his overrated whistle-happy and inconsistent compatriot Undiano Mallenco.

Is it posiible to call a CL semi-final an easy match for a referee? Whether or not, Velasco Carballo didn't have much work and the which he had was done precisely. I fully agree with all cards (both given and not given). It looks like Undiano Mallenco recognized his faults as his last performances in Chelsea-ManU and El Clássico in Valencia were perfect to my mind, I thought I see another man. But it was obviously a bit late. And yet another thing - since the quarter-finals, everything has gone great for referees in CL, we have seen only great performances. I hope this to continue mit einem STARKen performance tomorrow. Good luck, Wolfgang! :D
