From 2004 till the end of 2009 Vlado Svilokos was an international referee, category 4. He only took charge of youth matches and Intertoto Cup matches.
not
In 2005 he wasn't on the international FIFA list for a year, because the Croatian Football Federation had lost one referee position. Instead of Vlado Svilokos, Marijo Strahonja was selected.
seizure
During a futsal match in January 2009 Vlado Svilokos suddenly collapsed with what seemed to be an epileptic seizure. One of the players (Marko Raso) pushed back his tongue and probably saved his life. Medical staff reacted quickly and took him to a hospital. A few days later he was seen again at a match and seemed to be OK. It is feared that if it really was epilepsy his career a a referee is over.
