
Dimitar Atanassov Rumenchev (or Roumentchev) was probably the best Bulgarian referee of the 20th century. He took charge of 160 A League matches in his own country and of matches in the Olympic Tournament, the European Championships and the 1966 World Cup. See his palmares.
Rumenchev died in 1993.
