
The most important match John Keith "Jack "Taylor officiated must have been the 1974 World Cup final between Germany and Netherlands. Taylor gave both teams a penalty (1st penalty ever in a WC final and then also the second ever) and saw Germany win the final with 2-1. Jack Taylor was a FIFA referee between 1963 and 1977. Jack Taylor died July 2012.
